Standing Orders
Standing Orders are the formal rules of procedure governing Chamber business. They are distinct from informal guidance, staff instructions and technical operating arrangements. Where adopted, the authoritative current version and any formally approved temporary variation should be published here.
What procedural rules cover
Depending on the authorised settlement, procedural rules may cover meetings, Members, presiding arrangements, Government business, committees, debates, motions, voting, Bills, financial procedure, questions, laying and publication of documents, public access and reporting of proceedings.
No Standing Orders are currently published
There are no current authorised Standing Orders available on this website. The site therefore does not invent procedural deadlines, stages or powers.
