About parliamentary records
Parliamentary records are the authoritative records of the Hampshire Chamber. They are maintained by impartial Chamber administration and remain parliamentary records even when they concern Hampshire County Government business.
Bills and amendments
Proposed legislation, stages, documents and amendments.
Official Report
Substantially verbatim written record of public Chamber and committee proceedings.
Votes and motions
Motions, decisions, votes and divisions.
Questions and answers
Parliamentary scrutiny questions and answers.
Committee material
Committee meetings, inquiries, evidence, reports and publications.
Publications
Order papers, journals, committee papers and corporate publications.
Member standards and interests
Member conduct and transparency records where published.
Authenticity and chronology
The publication estate should preserve the source, date, status, sequence and institutional ownership of each record. Technical presentation can change, but the meaning and integrity of a formal parliamentary record must not be silently altered.
