Formal Chamber business
The Chamber is where Members conduct plenary parliamentary business. Depending on the applicable procedure, that can include debates, questions, statements, motions, votes or divisions, legislative stages, confidence business and financial business.
Before, during and after a sitting
Forthcoming business is published through the Chamber business record when formally scheduled. Public proceedings are captured in the Official Report where applicable, while motions, votes, decisions and other procedural records show what the Chamber formally did.
